Got a call like the others mentioned before. I just started speaking to the bloke in Mandarin and he seemed totally lost. Next time I’m gonna try telling him he’s got a virus on his computer and see what he says.

got a call from someone with a really thick indian accent, sounded like it was coming from overseas. he said he was from openreach and that my internet was messed up bad with some weird issue called " slow speed and contraction 22? ". the whole thing sounded so rubbish i couldn’t help but chuckle a bit. then he said to fix it he’d have to connect me to tech support (which i reckon is just another trick to take all my money). by mistake i just left the phone hanging without properly ending the call - fingers crossed that cost them more. steer clear!

Got a call from some bloke named Eric who said he was from my phone company, but I’m pretty sure he wasn’t. He had this accent, sounded kind of Chinese or Indonesian or something. Definitely didn’t seem legit.

I just ended the call straight away.

Somebody rang saying they were from the Windows service centre. I asked if they were helping me with my computer, and as soon as I started asking questions, they just cut off.

Got a couple of calls from someone saying they were with Microsoft, but when I asked a few questions, they just dropped the call. The bloke had an Indian accent. Even after blocking the number, they tried ringing me two more times. Proper dodgy.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft about issues on my computer. The person spoke with a thick Indian accent and insisted on taking remote access to “sort things out.” When I questioned them, they quickly ended the call. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number straight away.
