Got a call like this earlier. They wanted to know if I experienced any side effects after my covid jab. I’m always suspicious of calls that just want a yes or no answer, so I asked straight away who they were and their organisation. They claimed it was from the NHS Covid helpline. When I tried to find out the purpose of the call, they got quite rude and said they weren’t trying to sell me anything before abruptly hanging up.

I asked how I could be sure it was actually from them, and she told me to note her badge number and call 999 or 111 once the call was finished. Then she asked if I’d had any of the vaccines, and I told her the NHS would already have my info since it gets updated online. After that, she just ended the call. Bit of a waste of time really! Haha
