01872525486 called me claiming to be from my bank’s security team - total rubbish, obviously a scam.

I had no clue who it was when they called, and when I asked them their name, they just wouldn’t say. Then out of nowhere they started getting rude and said I was the one being disrespectful for asking. Pretty sure it was some dodgy scam call.

On 1st October 2020, I didn’t answer because the number was unfamiliar. I checked the voicemail, and the caller started with something like ‘you were in an accident that wasn’t your fault, isn’t that correct?’ before cutting off. Definitely a scam!

I received a rather dubious call today from a chap claiming to represent BT. It was clear straight away that he was a fraud, utterly clueless about anything he was rattling on about. Being in IT myself, I could tell he was just another would-be con artist trying his luck. Quite laughable, really!
