The connection was awful, but the guy claimed he was ringing from some fraud department about a timeshare I’d supposedly been sold wrongly. I’m so fed up with these constant scam calls coming from all sorts of numbers. Surely there’s a way to block them for good?

They asserted they were affiliated with Harwood Associates, collaborating with the government, Ministry of Justice, Trading Standards, and others, regarding 45 companies supposedly engaging in fraudulent activities related to the reclaiming or recovering of timeshare purchases.

Got a call from some timeshare people who just kept harassing me, telling nothing but lies. Seriously, don’t trust anything they say, it’s all rubbish.

Received a call this morning, and when I mentioned that the intended person was unavailable, the caller claimed they'd ring back later. However, when I inquired about their identity, they abruptly hung up. Quite rude, really!

Absolutely dreadful experience. A lady rang me, insisting she represented some sort of governmental fraud unit, claiming to investigate firms reaching out regarding dodgy maintenance fees for timeshares. I informed her that I hadn’t had any discussions about that and promptly hung up. Yet, she seemed far too keen on why I’d chosen to step away from my timeshare. I mentioned my husband’s ill health and that I had to end the conversation, but she persisted, attempting to persuade me to consult a paralegal to ensure that this company couldn’t come after me for outstanding fees, or even haunt my estate or my children after I’m gone! If she was genuinely working to combat the fraudulent tactics of these companies, why on earth would she be so intent on making certain I wouldn’t be targeted by them? It just doesn’t add up!

Terrible call, some woman claiming to be from the government's fraud department about businesses possibly reaching out about a timeshare. When I said my husband was very unwell, she just wouldn’t end the call. She said she’d ring me again on Thursday. I told her no need, then she agreed to call in a month. Guess what? She called me back 10 minutes later! So annoying!
