I’ve been getting calls from this number repeatedly, but when I pick up, there’s just silence on the other end. I’ve had enough and decided to block it. Isn’t it about time that BT took action against such nuisance calls, especially since it’s a landline?

I've received three calls from this number; I've already blocked it, yet now it’s starting to call my home phone too! I've gone ahead and blocked that as well. Just a heads up for everyone to be cautious!

Fascinating to glance through the initial pair of remarks here. I too found myself on the receiving end of a missed call from this number, and interestingly, they didn’t leave a message. Residing in Oxford myself, I initially thought it wasn't all that odd, given it's an Oxford code. However, after a bit of sleuthing on this site, my curiosity got the better of me. If another call comes through, I reckon I’ll just give it a miss, especially after what I've just gleaned!

I've been on the receiving end of multiple calls from this number over the past few weeks. The initial call was bizarrely silent; I found myself repeatedly asking, "Hello?" After a while, I heard someone reply with a cheeky 'gotcha' or similar, before they promptly disconnected. Since then, I've had a series of these eerie silent calls, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I informed the caller that my personal details were none of his concern and promptly hung up. He had the audacity to ring me back, at which point I clarified that I hadn’t been involved in any accident back in 2013. He insisted I shouldn’t have disconnected until he had the chance to explain that supposedly there’s a record of an accident, implying I’d just keep receiving calls. Rather ironically, he ended the conversation by hanging up on me. It’s quite clear he has no clue who I am since I use a pay-as-you-go mobile, meaning he lacks any true information about my identity to support his claims. I found his manner quite rude and off-putting. If he dares call again, I’ll certainly take the opportunity to waste his time in return!
