We've been getting loads of calls from that timeshare legal advice line, just another annoying cold call bothering us all the time. The woman who rang said her name was Victoria and mentioned she was doing some marketing. She said she’d been told to get in touch with timeshare owners. She didn’t say who wanted her to call or why exactly. When I told her I don’t have a timeshare, she said sorry and promised to take me off their call list. I've got all my mates and family saved on my phone so I know who's ringing. I don’t pick up any calls from numbers I don’t recognise, and my voicemail clearly says if your number isn’t saved, I won’t be answering. They can leave a message with their name and number and someone might get back to them, but honestly, hardly anyone ever leaves a message. I keep an eye on the numbers that call, and if it’s the same one bothering me over and over, I just block it.

Got a ring from this number asking for Mrs A (my mum, who’s quite old). The number is meant to be unlisted. When I said I was her daughter and asked who was on the line, the lady quickly said “oh it’s fine, we’ve got an email” and then just cut me off.
