Luckily I didnt pick up this phone, says it might be a scam. Cheers to all who shared their experiences before me, Ive now blocked that number. Back in March I got in a crash and im pretty sure the rent-a-car company passed my info along somehow. Since then, Ive been bombarded with calls from different ambulance chasers. Ive put most of em on block but honestly, Im getting rude with anyone new ringing me.

Got a phone call from some company saying I’d been in a car accident and that I might get some compensation. Could be legit firms trying to find clients, but honestly, a lot of them seem like scammers. Best not to get involved with these calls. If you have actually had an accident, just ring your insurance folks directly using the number on your policy paperwork.

Somebody called me asking if I’d had an accident and if I wanted to make a personal injury claim. Not sure where they found my number from, but they were really pushy on the phone.
