Got a call on my home phone from a woman claiming there was a problem with my computer. She insisted they had taken control of it remotely and mentioned some kind of file had been sent to my system. She asked me what I could see on the screen. I quickly told her no one has access to my computer at all. I called her out as a scammer and said I’d be reporting it. She tried to argue back, but I just hung up straight away. That number is now blocked on my phone.
