6 hoursLooks like some dodgy housing or benefits outfit trying to scam folks.9 hoursSomeone rang me claiming they were from a company that deals with councils and housing associations about some repair work. They kept saying they’d already put in a request for repairs on my behalf, which I know is rubbish. When I asked who exactly they were and which company they worked for, they just ended the call straight away. Quite dodgy if you ask me.11 hoursGot a call from someone claiming to be from Housing about repairs. As soon as I called them out, they just ended the call. Definitely a scammer.13 hoursI got a call from someone asking about problems with my home, like mould or damp. About 03 Numbers
Several organizations adopt 03 numbers instead of the more expensive 08 numbers. For example, a number of public sector bodies have transitioned from 0845 numbers to 0345. The price of calls matches calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02). Call charges depend on the time of the day, and most providers provide call packages that permit calls free of charge at specific times of the day. Mobile call costs differ according to the chosen calling plan. Usually, these calls are incorporated in free call packages.
