I received a rather suspicious phone call purportedly from BT, insisting that unauthorised users were accessing my broadband. The caller, a woman with an Asian accent, became rather hostile when I requested the address from which she was calling. She rudely queried, "Are you deaf?" When I mentioned that I had a similar call just two hours prior regarding my BT Broadband, her response was, "Oh, we utilise numerous different numbers." At that point, I chose to leave her gibbering to herself and concluded the call. No doubt about it, this was a classic scam attempt.
