These bloody morons just won't quit calling me. They asked for someone named Steven, then kept cutting me off when I said they had the wrong number. After that, they went on about some accident I supposedly had years ago. It’s always the same lot ringing from different numbers and it’s driving me up the wall.

Got a call from a lady looking for a Chris about insurance stuff, but I’m not even called Chris! I blocked the number straight away. They keep ringing from different landline numbers around Oxford. Stay clear of this dodgy company!

Got a call from them today - normally I avoid cold calls, but saw the number was from Oxford and have family there, so I picked up. She started with "This is about your accident - " and I cut her off laughing, "you’re trying to scam me, aren’t you!" She stammered and was all shocked saying “really, how rude” just before I ended the call. Just checked this site now - cheers for having it!

I usually just let unknown numbers ring on my phone, never pick up if I don’t know who it is. After reading these comments, I’m really pleased I stick to that.

They've rang me about 4 times now. First time some bloke named Gary called, real polite but kept pushing about a "free insurance quote". Told him I wasn't interested and he just hung up. Half an hour later, he rings back again, this time saying it’s no offer and if I don't pay, I'm putting my family and house in danger. He tried to stress if I didn't cough up £300, then he wouldn't be responsible for anything going wrong later. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

They just keep ringing and I never pick up, its driving me mad. How do they even get hold of your phone number? Proper frustrating. Ive blocked the number now but I bet they’ll try again with a different one. So annoying this keeps happening all the time!

01865699011 Absolute nightmare of a guy who kept calling and insulting me, ringing me constantly at all hours, day and night for months. He’d text all weird stuff too, trying to flirt or whatever. Honestly, don’t answer this number at all! They won’t stop hassling you. He even got hold of my number and started ringing from different phones, whispering rude things then hanging up, sending messages calling me baby. Seriously, just block and ignore it.

Someone said they were from First Assist and wanted my info. Since I’m already signed up with them, I asked the caller to verify my details first. Then a woman passed me to her boss, a guy named Gavin, who said he worked for Dowing Law. He asked if I’d been in an accident recently because someone was apparently making a claim. I told him to write to me instead and ended the call.

For the past year or so, I've been on the receiving end of calls from this number intermittently. They claim to be from a company called FIRST ASSIST, but all they really do is ask for someone I’ve never heard of. Despite their repeated assurances that they’d take my number off their list, I’m still getting harassed. Now, I'm at my wits' end and I don’t plan on being polite anymore. A deafening whistle might just be my next step!
