Some bloke, sounded Asian, claiming to be from Nationwide, asked for my postcode. I didn’t give it, then he read a postcode out loud which wasn’t mine. I still wouldn’t confirm, so he just hung up on me.

A bloke with an Indian accent claimed he was calling from Nationwide. He wanted to know my postcode but got it wrong and then just ended the call.

Got a call from some Indian bloke claiming to be Nationwide Building Society. When I asked what he wanted, he just said I couldn’t help and then cut me off. Seems like they were trying to scam me or something.

I got a call from 01865 688169, which shows up as Oxford. I didn’t pick up, just looked up the number online and found this site. Definitely blocked it and removed it from my phone now. These scam calls are getting worse and it’s so annoying!!! Guess I’ll keep blocking them as they come through!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the Financial Conduct Authority, said I owed money I didn’t know about. When I said that wasn’t right, they started asking about my life insurance. I told them I wasn’t going to talk about it and ended the call.

Somebody claimed they were ringing from Nationwide, wanted me to confirm my postcode. When I said the postcode they mentioned wasn’t mine, they wouldn’t explain what the call was regarding so I just declined to say if it was my postcode or not and ended the call!

He claimed he worked for a firm that could clear all my debts, said he was based in Manchester but was calling from an Oxford number. When I asked him to specify the law he kept talking about, he couldn’t give me a straight answer. I told him I don’t owe anything and there’s nothing he can do for me, yet he still kept pushing me to stay on the call.

Some bloke called 'John' from the 'UK Helpline Department' saying he wanted to discuss my unsecured debts. I asked if he was from a bank, a company, or some government agency. He struggled to reply and eventually got annoyed with my questions and hung up on me.

Got a recorded call from a number that looked local sayin "we need to talk about your life insurance, press 5 to chat to an advisor or 9 to stop getting these calls" then it said it was recorded and hung up. If they start charging me, I'll be reporting them to the info commission. Would recommend others do likewise.
