I get calls from these lot a couple of times every week, and each time it’s from a new number. They keep asking me if I’m Aaron Train. Their spiel is always about energy prices, whether I subscribe to a paper, or if I’d be interested in some sort of warranty for my washing machine, stuff like that. It’s gotta be pricey for them to hire all these phone lines, so I just waste their time chatting nonsense. Honestly, it’s baffling they keep ringing me despite never getting anywhere - they’ve really got no clue, do they?

The caller knew my info and claimed it was about an energy check for my home, something to do with a government scheme. I told them I wasn't interested, but they said they'd forward my details to a team leader who would get in touch. I didn't agree to that either. Wonder what they'll do now!

Got a call from this number moments ago. I tried ringing back but all I got was some strange noise, no busy tone or anything. From what I’ve seen on here, sounds like just another scam. Lucky I didn’t pick up, and thankfully there was no message left!

I really struggled to make out what the caller was saying. All I gathered was that they claimed to be from some kind of advisory service and went on about rising prices. Got a call from an unknown number that showed Oxford on my screen, so I picked up since it's close to me. The guy on the other end had a heavy accent and all I caught was him saying my name, which was pretty creepy since I have no clue how he got it - I’m thinking maybe that O2 leak from a while back. Sounds like one of those robot calls that don’t really know who they’re trying to reach till you answer. These calls usually come from spoofed numbers, maybe with VOIP tech from overseas. Best to just ignore them.

Seems to be associated with some sort of "better homes" initiative or something along those lines. I've noticed this number popping up whenever there’s a query about car accidents, so it’s quite likely it's just a front for a scam operation. You might want to steer clear of it!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BETTER HOMES, saying they were doing a survey about a £2000 home improvements giveaway. They even mentioned I might've seen them on the telly recently. They wanted to ask me a few questions, like 4 in total. I did a quick Google search and couldn’t find any such offer. I pointed out that BETTER HOMES are supposed to be in YORKSHIRE, but this caller was ringing from an OXFORD number. They ended the call straight away after that.

I recently had a rather dodgy conversation with someone who was rambling on about a car accident from last year that I apparently caused, which is absolutely untrue. The bloke was totally deceitful, claiming to assist me in securing compensation for this alleged incident. Honestly, steer clear of anything he suggests-he's not to be trusted!
