Dont even bother answering if it’s from an oxford number, just hang up straight away and dont get pulled into any of their questions.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC offering a tax refund, they asked for my bank info but I hung up straight away and blocked the number.

someone rang me up saying they were from a charity asking if I wanted to give a donation. I told them no and hung up. It’s not that I don’t want to help, I just prefer not to do it over the phone or online since I worry it might be a scam. I usually like to give to charities in my area instead.

Got a call saying it’s from o2 about some special offer I’ve been picked for. Complete rubbish since I’m not even with o2 - oh, and I actually work there myself! They keep using loads of different numbers but I just block every one of them. Such a pain.

These guys keep ringing me like 20 times daily, it's driving me mad. I’m seriously considering switching to a new number because the nonstop calls are just too much to deal with. Usually, they’re on about me winning some sort of prize or being specially chosen or whatever.

I just got straight to the point, no talking, they hung up on me. When I rang back, it was some sort of automated message just saying goodbye.

Got calls from about 9 different numbers, all saying I’d won some O2 competition and wanting to know if I’m on a contract or pay as you go. I’ve blocked every single one but I’m sure they’ll just keep trying. This is ridiculous, they really ought to be taken to court for scamming folks like this!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from 02, saying I was chosen for some special offer. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.
