Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT wanting to chat about my broadband. It felt like one of those classic scams where they try to distract you with a fake issue before asking for bank info or something. I told the bloke I was registered with the telephone preference service and he just cut me off. Pretty sure that number wasn’t really from Oxford either…
