Got two calls today from someone claiming to be with BT. They said there might be some kind of ‘spy’ bug messing with my internet and wanted me to open my laptop so they could check and remove it. Sounds fishy to me, definitely a scam. The numbers popped up under the UNAVAILABLE label on my cordless home phone. Both times the caller had an Asian accent. The numbers were 07701 385 417 and 01865 324 957.
