Wasn’t the usual loud call centre noise. It was quiet to begin with, then a woman with an Indian accent asked for me by my last name. She said she was calling from British Telecom and that my bill would jump by 35% starting next month. I just ended the call there. From what I’ve found, BT prices usually go up around March, not December or January. Their own terms mention they only raise prices yearly by the Consumer Price Index plus around 3.9%, definitely not 35%. Plus, I’m actually with Virgin Media O2, not BT.
