Got a call out of the blue from someone trying to scam me. Definitely didn’t ask for that!

For months now, I’ve been getting calls from a recorded american woman saying my ip address is at risk and will be shut down in a day or two. She says to press #1 to get a tech to sort out a new ip and router. These calls come from all sorts of numbers, but my internet still works perfectly fine. I just hang up every time without bothering.

I've been getting loads of calls from this automated 'Shirley' voice lately too. Just got a call from that number myself not long ago. It's gotten so annoying that now, I just let the phone ring out and then hit 1471 to see who called.
