Got a call from a woman saying she was from Vodafone, trying to sort out my broadband contract renewal. Thing is, my contract’s got like 18 months left on it! Pretty obvious this was just some dodgy scam.

I just looked this number up on Vodafone's site and it says it’s linked to sales. Bit frustrating though, they didn’t have a clue about any of my contract info!

He kept saying hello and asking who I was cos he couldn't really hear me properly. Said he was from Vodafone and that I was meant to be getting an upgrade. I'm actually with Vodafone too, but my upgrade isn't for another few days. I told him my hubby deals with all that stuff, then he just said alright, cheers for my time and hung up.

A british guy picked up, just said a quick hello when i called a couple times, then ended the call straight away. Seemed odd.
