Got a call from someone with a weird accent claiming to be from my local council about some injury claim linked to my phone number. I could barely make out what he was saying, so I just ended the call and looked up the number here to see if it was legit!

Received a phone call from an individual who asserted he was contacting me on behalf of my local council. He alleged that they had provided him with my information from the NHS database or some other source (connection was poor) and that I had reported an accident using this number or address! I repeatedly informed him that I couldn't comprehend his message due to the faulty line, but he became increasingly aggressive towards me! Eventually, I hung up. This event is undoubtedly indicative of a scam!!! Exercise caution!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Brecon in Wales. Supposedly, they wanted to offer me compensation for an accident they found out about through the NHS. It is important to note that the NHS does not disclose any personal information, as it is legally protected by the Data Protection Act of 1998. Any attempt to do so would be considered a criminal offense. Additionally, I have not been involved in any accidents whatsoever. These individuals are clearly fraudsters, and it is crucial to avoid sharing any personal details with them. Simply direct them elsewhere and disregard their claims.

Recently, I received a call from an individual claiming that I was involved in an accident. This person furtherclaimed to be affiliated with the NHS. I promptly dismissed their statement and voiced my doubt, which led them to become confrontational. In response, I advised them unpleasantly to leave me alone and ended the call. It's quite audacious of them to behave in such a manner.

I just received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Leicester City Council regarding an accident or incident, suggesting that they obtained my contact information from the NHS. However, it's important to note that the NHS does not have my home phone number. When I repeatedly informed them that I didn't have any accidents, they brought their superior into the conversation. The supervisor once again asked me the same question, and I responded by denying any incidents once again. Suddenly, the original caller started shouting and verbally abusing me, repeatedly calling me a liar and insisting that I had indeed said yes to an accident. Despite their aggressive behavior, I remained calm and composed, asking them to specify when I supposedly agreed to have had an accident and when it occurred. Eventually, the call abruptly ended. I tried to return their call but repeatedly encountered a busy tone. Quite astonishing!

Received a phone call from someone who claimed to be representing the Leicester City Council regarding an accident I had allegedly been involved in. Politely informed them that I have not been involved in any accident and requested them not to contact me further. It was apparent that this was yet another scam attempt.

Received a phone call earlier from a gentleman claiming to be from Leicester City Council. He stated that the NHS had forwarded my personal information about the recent accident to them. I expressed my concern about data protection and pointed out that the NHS wouldn't share such details without my consent. To my surprise, he abruptly terminated the call. This incident is quite distressing.

Claiming to be John from Leicester County Council (not city!), someone called me regarding the accident I was supposedly involved in. I expressed my disapproval to him and promptly ended the call. It's better not to respond to such calls!

I received a call from Mike representing the local council of Leicester (not true - we should clarify that we're in the county, not the city!). He mentioned a car accident that supposedly occurred in December 2014 (which is false). Unfortunately, he did not provide any further details about this alleged incident. In order to contact him, I requested a phone number to call back on: 0116 454 000. However, it turned out that the number does not actually exist.

I received a call purporting to be from Birmingham City Council, claiming that an accident had been reported from my address and asking if I wanted to make a claim. When I declined, the caller abruptly ended the conversation. It is truly puzzling who these individuals might be and how they manage to obtain numbers that are not listed in directories. Our phone companies should rally together and take concrete action against these deceitful scammers. Once again, vulnerable elderly individuals are falling victim to their schemes. It is high time we put an end to this!

I received a phone call from a person named Daniel, claiming to be a representative of the Derbyshire County Council. He mentioned an accident that I was supposedly involved in within the past two years. When I informed him that no such accident had occurred, he became increasingly persistent and insisted that someone at my address was providing them with false information. However, I stood my ground and informed him that he was the one providing incorrect facts before ending the call. To address this issue, I have reported the incident to the Derbyshire County Council, providing them with the phone number used by "Daniel".

Afterwards, I attempted to call the same number back, only to be informed that it does not exist. It's quite perplexing, isn't it?

I had a similar experience. This person claimed to be from the Derbyshire Council, discussing the NHS. Coincidentally, I visited the A&E department yesterday! He inquired about any car accidents I may have had, but I replied in the negative. He then asked if I had any accidents at work. Again, my answer was negative, as I only had a foot sprain. Surprisingly, he abruptly ended the call! This incident occurred at 1:02 pm on May 26th, 2015.

I received a call claiming to be from the NHS, saying they were reaching out regarding some alleged incident we were involved in. The funny thing is, we haven't had any accidents at all! Clearly, this isn't a genuine NHS call.
