I got a call with a recorded voice claiming to be BT, saying they were about to cut off my internet unless I pressed 1 to sort it out. It really freaked me out since BT has no reason to disconnect my service. It’s quite scary stuff.

I got a voicemail claiming to be from BT, saying my internet was about to be cut off and I needed to hit 1 to sort it out. Thing is, I’ve never had any reason for BT to do that, so it really spooked me for a moment.
