I received a call claiming to be from Amazon Prime, but the voice didn't sound right-it was that odd Thurso accent. They hung up before I could inquire further. Just a heads up, Amazon never contacts you from a Thurso number in Caithness!

I received a rather perplexing silent call earlier. A mate mentioned that an Indian call centre seems to have adopted the 01847 code for their unsolicited ring-a-dings in the Thurso region. Quite the nuisance!
