So, I got a call from EE about a mobile I bought through the internet.

Got a call out of the blue from EE. They mentioned I’d been checking out SIM-only deals online, so I guess they were gearing up for a sales spiel. I told them to take me off their calling list and I’ve blocked the number now. Honestly, I can’t believe they still use this method - it doesn’t just not work, it actually puts me off from using their services. I’m now dead set against ever going with EE and I’ll be warning my mates and family too.

SCAM ALERT. Got a call today saying my latest order hadn’t gone through properly. At first, it seemed legit because they knew all the stuff about my order, but then they asked for my card details, claiming the upfront payment for the phone hadn’t gone through. Got a call from someone pretending to be EE. The message went something like, "Hello, EE calling today. We’ll call you again soon or stay on the line to talk to an adviser." Then it beeped and went quiet. After that, it said, "No worries, you don’t need to do anything, but if you want more info or to take your number off our list, ring 0810006940 or stay on to speak to an adviser," then more beeps but no one answered.
