The person on the other end sounded like they were trapped in some sort of underwater pod before they abruptly cut off the conversation. From what I gathered, there was a mention of Ebay during the call. We operate an Ebay business ourselves, so I decided to ring the number back. An automated message responded, claiming it was indeed Ebay and assuring me it was nothing to fret over, also stating they'd attempt to reach out again. I’d be quite taken aback if this truly was Ebay reaching out, considering they’ve never deemed it necessary to contact us before! It seems more likely to be yet another promotional call trying to trumpet their latest offerings or wring more cash out of us. Typically, when we encounter a problem, their customer service is rather ineffective, so I can hardly see this call being of any meaningful assistance.
