Got a call from 01843 619280 - no one picked up but I could hear a big sigh in the background. This was coming from Minster, Ramsgate, Kent. Bit odd really.

I ignored the call and it lead me to a spoof number 0843 1163344. Pretty sure the same number called me last week too. Definitely a no answer from me!

The call came from Vision Homes, or so they said. When I asked who was calling, they just ended the call straight away. I tried ringing back but was told to call a different number instead, which I didn’t bother with. Feels like one of those dodgy scam calls to me, so I’m planning to block the number.

Received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be from Virgin Media, saying my broadband router had been hacked and that I needed to grant them access to my computer for them to sort it out. Total scam! It’s clearly a ploy to nick your details. Do yourself a favour and block this number to avoid the hassle altogether.

Great news! There's some government support available for new windows if yours are older than 10 years. I also made sure they took me off their list, and I’ve blocked the number just to be safe and avoid any mix-ups.
