I received a recorded message that claimed there were two attempted transactions from my bank for amounts of £300 and £1,000. Clearly, it’s a fraudulent scheme.

Got a call from this number yesterday while I was in Margate. It was one of those automated messages, but they never really said who they were. The message claimed I’d tried to make payments twice - one for about £300 and another for over £1000 or something. Then it told me to press 1 if it was me or 2 to cancel if it wasn’t. I just ignored it and ended the call. Seems like a dodgy scam to me.
