Some bloke called saying he was from BT and wanted my bank details to confirm something! I told him to prove he knew my BT account number first, then he just kept yapping at me non stop. I had to tell him to pipe down and pay attention, which seemed to rattle him a bit. Normally if it was a legit call centre, they’d be polite and actually listen, so that was a dead giveaway this was dodgy.

Got a message from an American lady saying my internet was about to be disconnected. Called me at 10.35 this morning. Heard a nearly identical call yesterday but from another number - 02039702802. Definitely a scam, watch out!
