Somebody rang me claiming to be from the council, saying my energy rebate payment hadn’t gone through and asked for my bank info. Definitely a scam trying to get my details.

Around 11 this morning, I got a call from someone claiming to be from Vision Homes, talking about home improvements. I calmly told her I wasn’t interested and asked her not to continue. Without a word, she just cut me off. How charming!

They rang me at 11.52 claiming to be from Vision Homes. They asked if I’d got a large green envelope full of papers from them. I told them I hadn’t and had a quick look at the company name. I wasn’t going to go any further with it, and then abruptly the call just ended.
