The number wasn’t familiar but I picked up since the area code is local. An automated message claimed two payments had gone out of my account earlier today (can’t recall who or how much). It asked me to press 1 or 2 to talk to an agent. I just hung up right away and waited for them to disconnect. It’s clearly a fake number. I get plenty of these types of calls, probably from abroad since I’m on the TPS register.
