Some woman with a kinda foreign sounding voice called me and used my name right away. Didn’t wanna give anything away so I just asked who she was and why she was ringing. She mumbled some rubbish I couldn’t make out then stopped talking altogether. Tried asking her once more what this was about but got nothing back - so I just ended the call.

It's the same firm again, just using new phone numbers trying to gather info about your home. When I told them I live in a council house, they hung up sharpish. Gave them a cheeky thanks for calling though, job done 😂

Upon informing her that no one by that name resides at this number, she graciously apologised, mentioning she must have glanced at the wrong name on her list. However, she hung up before I could inquire further about why she had dialled my number in the first place. I can’t help but wonder if she confused the number as well as the name! Quite puzzling, really.

Got a call from a Norfolk number, I think it was Thetford, but it felt like they were faking it. It was some woman asking about doing a "survey" on my house, sounded fishy and like a sales trick to me.

I picked up and a woman told me she was calling from Anglia Surveys, said it’d just be a quick survey that’d take half a minute. She asked stuff like if there was moss growing on my roof or how tight the seals were on my windows. It really was quite short. But now I’m thinking, like someone else mentioned, maybe she was actually fishing for details to sell to others? Honestly, I probably should’ve just ended the call right away.
