Received a call earlier today, and it really puzzles me why law enforcement haven’t stepped in to tackle these fraudsters. It seems everyone here and on similar platforms has dodged the scam bullet, yet countless elderly or vulnerable individuals must be falling prey, otherwise, these crooks wouldn't persist. In today’s technological age, the stark reality is that prying into someone’s home and physically harming them for their cash is laborious and carries the risk of capture. Conversely, pulling off a con over the phone is a doddle, raking in far more significant rewards with virtually no chance of facing justice.

First, there was nothing but quiet, then out of nowhere a woman says "GOODBYE". Luckily BT Call Protect caught it and blocked the number 1572.

Got a call from someone speaking with an Indian accent claiming they're from BT and wanted to get into my internet. I quickly ended the call. Honestly, no matter who they claim to be, you should never give anyone access to your internet.

Got a call from some Asian guy claiming someone was using our internet last night. When I told him we run a business, he suddenly started asking if I was single or married, then weirdly if I was a virgin. Didn’t hang around after that nonsense - just ended the call right away!

I received a call from what seemed to be an Indian-accented voice, claiming that there were issues with my Internet connection. Yesterday around 1pm, I got a call from a woman with a foreign accent, number 0017872943185. She claimed there was an issue with my internet and asked me to switch on my computer so she could sort it out. I said no thanks, I’d handle it myself, then she just hung up. Then today at about 4:05pm, a bloke sounding Asian called from 01839248175 telling me I had loads of viruses on my PC. He said if I powered it up, he could fix it. I told him I had security measures in place and would sort it out on my own, then he ended the call.

I got a call from an Asian guy around half past two on 16th May. Right as he started talking, I cut in saying, "Let me guess, you're calling about some internet issue?" He ended up hanging up straight away.

Today, 16.05.18 at 11:05, I got a call on my landline with the same message as mentioned earlier. The caller said they were from BT and warned that my service would be cut off if I didn’t press 1. The voice was a recorded bloke with a bit of an accent. Didn’t get the chance to tell him what I really think about these dodgy calls. I just blocked the number using 1572.
