I got a call about my ‘bt wholesale broadband’ line but the person didn’t say who they were or which company they worked for. They just jumped straight in without introducing themselves or explaining why they were calling. I told them I don’t even get internet from that provider, and as soon as I said that, they hung up without saying a word. Pretty weird experience really.
