Has anyone got an idea who might be calling from this number?

I picked up and a guy with a thick foreign accent started going on about saving half on my landline bill. He kept tripping over his words, so I told him to slow down and stick to the script. He chuckled, said sorry, mentioned he was new at the job and asked if he could have another go. I told him no thanks, we both had a laugh and then I hung up. Just a sales call really. Even though he seemed polite, I’ve blocked the number now.

They asked me if I was from India or not. Quite a strange question to just ring up and ask like that.
