Received a call at 08:40 on the 11th of March, 2019, which was blocked by my call guardian. They didn’t bother to leave a message.

Just had a dodgy call from 01838328541 claiming there's an issue with my internet. They tried to scare me into calling back on 22777777. Definitely a scam – steer clear of these lot!

Seems like there's dodgy activity from BT regarding my internet connection! They're threatening to disconnect me, and it feels rather like a scam.

I received a recorded call purporting to be from Ofcom, stating that my broadband required an update, or I'd risk losing my connection. They wanted me to stay on the line for more details, but I decided it was best to hang up. Considering Virgin is my actual provider, I figured any important updates would come directly from them.

I've never heard of anyone associated with that number; it seems like it could potentially be a scam or something related to payment protection insurance.
