I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT Openreach. The line was absolutely dreadful, and I could hear multiple voices chattering in the background. They didn’t bother to ask for my name, which I found rather odd. The person spoke with an Asian accent but introduced themselves as John. They claimed my broadband was either sluggish or not functioning properly and offered to assist me with the issue. Then, the call abruptly cut off.
