I kept getting calls from different numbers but it was clearly the same scammers. Eventually my phone started sending them straight to spam, so I just blocked them. They kept bothering me though, ringing from new numbers all the time. Proper harassment!

Got a call from someone with a thick Indian accent claiming to be from O2, but it honestly sounded dodgy. I told him I wanted to do a few security checks first and asked him to tell me my name. Next thing, he just cut the call. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.

I answered but they just ended the call straight away.

I really couldn’t understand what they were trying to say, and when I asked who it was, they just cut the call. It sounded like they had an accent, maybe from some call centre. In the end, I just blocked the number.

I had a run-in with these scammers the other day and honestly, they act like they’ve got it all figured out. I called them out for targeting old and vulnerable folks and their attitude was just rude. One bloke said something like, “while you lot are stuck eating plain meals after a hard day, we’ll be chilling in Miami, cocktails in hand, munching on Lobster Thermidor before you know it.” They bragged about cashing in big time and living it up despite everyone else struggling with the cost of living. Proper infuriating. 🀬

My phone showed "Kettering, England" instead of a number, which is odd since I live in Scotland and don’t know anyone from that area. Given that others have mentioned it being a scam, I’m leaning towards that being true as well.

Somebody called saying they were from o2 and asked for my email to send a half price deal for next month. When I mentioned that o2 never calls with deals like that, they just put the phone down. Usually, I tell them that this number is my old o2 line and that the company uses it to track scammers.

I got a call from someone claiming to be an O2 rep, but they ended up swearing at me and acting really threatening. Definitely not how a proper agent should behave.
