They started off saying something about 'Telephone Preference', but don’t be fooled - this isn’t the genuine TPS. It’s actually a con trying to get you to pay up by claiming it will block all those annoying calls.

Today they rang again but actually spoke this time, saying they were from Telephone Preference Management Services (though not the actual TPS). I told the person to take my number off their list and never call again! Yeah right, considering they've phoned me loads of times before, probably using different numbers each time!

Got calls from this number a couple of times, and every time I ended the call, they kept ringing back, so I just switched my phone off. When I powered it back on a couple of hours later, they called yet again, pressing me to hand over my bank info. I told them straight up to back off, no way was I sharing that. I ended up turning the phone off again. Honestly, they've been such a hassle - really pushy and a bit creepy. I wish there was someone official I could report this lot to.
