It seems there’s been quite a bit of disruption as a caller purporting to represent Legal and General has contacted my elderly parents thrice today regarding life insurance. It’s concerning to witness such persistent calls aimed at them, especially given their age.

Received a call purporting to be from the Telephone Preference Service. I made it clear that they couldn't be genuine, as cold calls shouldn't target numbers registered with them. When I asked for a callback number to report to the authorities, they abruptly hung up!

I picked up the call, but there was complete silence on the other end. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

They may tout 'Telephone Preference' in their pitch, but let’s not be fooled – this is not the legitimate TPS. It’s merely a ruse designed to fleece you with the false promise of shielding you from those pesky nuisance calls, all for a fee.

I’ve heard about this telephone preference service to fend off those annoying calls. I mentioned to the chap on the line that he fit right into that category! He promptly cut the connection.

I received a call moments ago from a number I didn't recognise, so I thought it best to let the answering machine pick up. However, the caller hung up before leaving any message. After seeing similar reports from others, I’ve decided to block this number straight away.

If you let the call from 01832400024 go unanswered on multiple occasions, it appears to switch to 01629230026. Quite an unusual tactic, I must say!

I've just had my fifth call from them, repeatedly inquiring about a Mr Randall, as if I'm going to reveal my true identity! Quite suspicious if you ask me. I've decided it's best to ignore them entirely now, so I've blocked their number.

Just received a call around ten minutes back from someone claiming to be with the Telephone Preference Service. They assured me I'd no longer be troubled by nuisance calls starting tomorrow. Honestly, the chap sounded a bit mad!

Received three calls today from this number. Each time, I picked up, only for it to go straight to voicemail, after which they disconnected. When I attempted to return the call, I was informed that the number is out of service. Quite odd, really.

I keep getting calls from 01832400024 today, and it looks like it’s from Clopton in Suffolk. It’s annoying because just last week, I received a whopping thirteen calls from a Chester number. What on earth can be done about these persistent callers? We’re on the TPS list, but it seems to make no impact whatsoever. It’s becoming a right nuisance!

My landline was disturbed by three calls this morning. I let it divert to the answering machine, but they hung up without leaving a word. Quite peculiar, really!
