7 yearsI got a call on my home phone and it was an automated voice, a woman saying I’d missed a call from my internet provider. She warned me my internet would be disconnected within 48 hours because of some legal matter and told me to press 1 to talk to a legal advisor. When it first came through, I pressed 1 out of curiosity and got put through to a guy speaking with an odd accent, background noise making it clear it was a call centre. I hung up straight away.
