She claimed that I had missed a call from my internet provider and warned that my internet service was about to be suspended in the next two days due to some legal matter. She then instructed me to press 1 to be connected with a legal adviser. The first time I received this, I did press 1, only to be connected to a chap with a noticeable foreign accent amidst some disruptive background noise, clearly from a call centre.
