I had a rather concerning phone call at 9:34 on the 22nd of October 2019. The callers claimed to be from BT, stating that other individuals were accessing my device while I was online. I informed them that I don’t even use BT for my internet services and that I would reach out to BT directly for clarification. Despite this, they maintained that BT was responsible for my landline, insisting it did not matter who my internet provider was. Then, they proceeded to request that I log into my device, be it my phone, tablet, or laptop. I firmly declined their request and hung up.
