In just 30 minutes today, I got calls from like four different life insurance firms! They couldn’t even get my last name right and kept asking if I’m still a non-smoker. So annoying!

Absolutely awful! Not a hint of politeness on the call. As soon as I answered, I heard a woman giggling away. She kept sniggering and then went, “Is that (my name)?” When I said yes, she burst out laughing again and just hung up on me. They’ve called me a bunch recently, and honestly, I’m ready to hit the panic button on the phone next time they ring. Would love for her manager to see this - maybe then they’ll get the message!

I just ignored this number since it was from somewhere I don't recognise. Browsed through the comments here and realised it’s just another nuisance call like I suspected. I've blocked it now. It’s so annoying how these automated calls keep coming through, even when you’re signed up to the do not call list. Feels like nothing’s being done about it!
