They wanted me to do a quick 5 minute survey and then asked me to verify my full name and email through some security questions. That’s when I got suspicious; I suggested doing a postal survey instead and they said "no, we don’t do it that way". They sounded very polite but don’t let it fool you.

Seeing all the comments I’ve just blocked this number. They keep calling, and its really starting to get on my nerves. Sometimes they ring two or three times daily!!!

I've had two missed calls from this number. It rang only a couple of times, so I couldn't pick it up in time. I did a bit of digging online and it's clear I have zero interest in subscribing to The Times.

An exceedingly persistent salesperson was on the line attempting to persuade me to sign up for the online newspaper. I had already declined their offer politely last week, but they wouldn't take no for an answer. Even after I reiterated my lack of interest, the sales pitch continued. Honestly, no amount of discounts or accolades for their journalists will sway me; when I say I'm not interested, I mean it! I've now blocked the number.

Had a proper annoying call from some bloke trying to sell me a digital Times subscription. I’d already told him last week I wasn’t bothered, but he kept going on about how cheap it was and how brilliant their journalists are. I said no a few times, but he just wouldn’t quit. Honestly, if I say I’m not interested, just drop it! Ended up blocking the number.

When I called back, an answerphone picked up and said "Sunday Times". Kind of makes me think it’s the Sunday Times Wine Club trying to get hold of me.

Got a missed call from this number so I called back and got a quick automated voice mentioning Times or Sunday Times before it just ended. Was hoping for some weird heavy breathing like others mentioned but no luck there, bit of a letdown! I am actually a Sunday Times subscriber though, so maybe they’ll ring me again. We’ll wait and see :)
