Got a call from an automated voice warning me that my Amazon Prime would renew automatically for £39.99. They told me to talk to an operator if I didn’t want to renew. Thing is, I don’t even have Prime, so it’s clearly a scam. I’ve just blocked the number straight away.

I got a robo-call saying it was Amazon, telling me my Prime subscription would be renewed for £39.99 a year, and to press 1 if I didn’t want to keep it. Thing is, I don’t even use Prime or any Amazon services, and I’m pretty sure Amazon wouldn’t ring to say it’s renewing. Also, the yearly fee is supposed to be around £79.99, not that low. I just ended the call straight away.
