Over the years, ive gotten this call more than once, always from a new number though. The person on the other end sounds like they might be from Asia, and they can be really rude with their words! I pretended i was on my PC and they've tried the same trick about three times now. They tell me to press the (windows key plus the little r key) together. Don't fall for it! They then ask what pops up on your screen, and i said it looked like a scam. Right away they started shouting and calling me names. Hope this info helps someone out there.

Got a call from some woman with an accent, said my "windows" laptop was hacked or something. I asked her what exactly she meant, then said I don’t even own a windows device. She got really nasty and told me to quit botherin’ her. This is the third time this week they’ve called. I’ve tried blocking numbers, but they keep switching them up. So annoying!

My elderly mother received a couple of calls today from this number, insisting they were from Microsoft and wanted to assist with her computer. The thing is, she doesn’t even own a computer!

Got a call from someone with a really English name but the voice sounded Asian. Honestly, it’d be nice if they just stuck to real names for once. They said they were from Microsoft, about my computer downloading stuff. I was confused because my PC wasn’t even on! I kept saying sorry and how I couldn’t believe this was happening again. Eventually, I just hung up because I didn’t buy a word he was saying. He didn’t get to stick to his script ‘cause I went off on a tangent and I don’t think he was ready for that. Felt a bit cheeky this morning, to be honest.

I got a call from an asian bloke who claimed he was Andrew, working for the computer security team at Microsoft. When I asked where he was calling from, he said Thames Valley, Reading. He insisted my computer was triggering some serious alerts and that he had to assist me right away. Pretty obvious it was a scam if you ask me.

Got a call from an Asian lady who said she was with Microsoft. She told me my computer was hacked and asked me to turn it on so she could sort it out. I told her I’ve heard that scam loads of times before and hung up. She didn’t sound pleased at all.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying she was from Microsoft. Claimed my computer was hacked and needed me to be at my PC so she could check the details. I told her I was about to head out and couldn't deal with it right then. After that, she got quite insistent, trying to make me set up a callback time. In the end, I just ended the call!

This bloke was really cheeky, claiming there was something wrong with my computer. I told him I don’t even own one, but he just called me a liar. When he couldn’t get any info from me, he went on about how deep my voice was and joked that I sounded like a bloke. Proper rude!

I didn’t catch his name, just heard him say my computer was having issues. He claimed he was from Microsoft, but I told him there was nothing wrong and told him to leave me alone before hanging up the phone. I wonder how often they bother people with this kind of scam. Also, he was kinda hard to understand, sounded Asian or something.

I usually don’t bother picking up my mobile, figured nobody important would call. The phone kept buzzing on and on forever though. After I looked up the number, it seemed pretty dodgy to me.

I got a call from a bloke with an asian accent who said his name was Peter Wilson, claiming to be from Microsoft. He warned me that hackers were trying to break into my computer - classic scam stuff. This was actually the second time in two days I’ve had calls like this, but from different phone numbers.
