Then a bloke named Dave popped round to chat with me and my missus, and he was really sound, no hard sell or anything, which we appreciated given we’re both in our sixties. I have a similar experience with Weatherproof and the number 01212851041. The manager was exceedingly aggressive during our conversation, despite us clearly stating that we weren’t keen on their services. It got to the point where he actually instructed my husband to "shut up" while he was trying to respond! We repeatedly asked him to cease the calls and to take our number off their list, but he kept ringing us incessantly. It was maddening! I genuinely wondered if he believed that bombarding us with fourteen calls would convince us! It’s utterly absurd, really.

Claimed to have the backing of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, yet when I probed further, they couldn't provide any additional details. They were rather persistent about scheduling a quick five-minute meeting with me.

i got a call from some company claiming they do exterior brick wall sealing. the person on the phone just wouldn't listen when i said no, kept cutting me off and throwing info at me like it was some kind of sales pitch battle. it got pretty annoying, and when i told them i was hanging up, they acted like i was being rude. might be a decent service but i dont want it forced on me like that.

I received a phone call earlier today from a firm called Weatherproof UK. I gave them a chance to share their pitch, but when I expressed that I wasn’t keen on receiving a free quotation, the chap turned rather insistent. Absolutely appalling service from Weatherproof UK, situated in Tamworth. Don’t be swayed by their smooth-talking sales spiel; if you dare to disagree, their attitude turns quite hostile. It’s worth mentioning that their telesales staff aren’t external agents - I reached out to them directly on the toll-free number 08007723455 to put an end to their incessant calls. They’ve got about 20 telemarketers ringing up to 80 people daily, which really does raise the chances of a fair few disgruntled customers!
