I got a call from 01827231120, Weatherproof UK ITD or whatever. They've been conning folks forever, it seems like. They just keep blabbering until you give in and say yes, so watch out!

some company called weathershield or something like that kept ringing me up trying to offer a free damp survey, got proper pushy when i said i wasnt interested. told them over and over to stop calling me. they used to call the home phone so i blocked that number, now theyre ringing me on my mobile - had to block that one too. damn annoying!

Got a call from this number about a free damp inspection, they said my area was ‘high risk’ or something like that. She never mentioned which company she was with or how she got my details. When I said I wasn’t interested, she started getting really rude, kept pushing me to explain why, then just started shouting and hung up. Even if they’re legit, I wouldn’t want to deal with them after that.

Got a call from them on Friday 2/5/19 regarding some damp treatment in my area. I rang them back to tell them not to bother calling me again. When she asked why, I told her I looked up the number online and found it was flagged as dangerous. She was alright about it and then just hung up.

My 85 year old mum got a call about cavity wall insulation, and this "Melanie" kept going on about it. Mum said no two times, but Melanie wouldn’t drop it. When I grabbed the phone, I told her straight she was probably breaching the law. She said she was calling for Solihull council, but honestly, she was really pushy and rude to my mum, almost like she was trying to scare her.

My 85 year old mum got a call on 16-10-18 about some kind of damp treatment nearby. She said no but the bloke just kept nagging. She ended up hanging up. Then he phoned again, swearing and insulting her, even telling her to f - her mother. Proper nasty caller.

Over the past couple of days, they’ve rung my 87-year-old relative about ten times, refusing to listen when told no. They’re pushing for some damp treatment and just won’t back off. It’s really upsetting for elderly folks, and even when a carer answered and asked them to stop, the calls kept coming. When the phone’s hung up on them, they just keep ringing again and again. Properly stressful for pensioners, honestly.
