Ah, Gordon – our very own “energy guru”! It’s quite amusing, really. Over the last several weeks, I've been bombarded with calls from these so-called "advisers". Each week, they pop up with a different name, yet oddly enough, the voice remains like a broken record! It’s as if they think we don’t notice their little ruse.

Gordon's been in touch with me on two occasions today! He asserts that he's a local MG consultant hailing from Staffordshire!

As others have mentioned regarding this number, a bloke answered my greeting with a rather abrupt farewell. I’ve had enough of that nonsense, so I’ve blocked them now.

I haven't a clue. All I heard was a farewell just as I answered the call.

Utter nonsense! If it were genuinely significant, surely they would have the decency to leave a voicemail?

Received a couple of phone calls today from someone named Gordon, claiming to be our local 'energy consultant.' But hang on, we’re based in Suffolk! Quite the mix-up, I’d say!

I had a call just now from 01827 230653, the chap introduced himself as Gordon, claiming to be my energy advisor. He asked if I still owned my place, to which I replied that I was renting. Following that, he promptly hung up. Quite odd, really!

I received a call from someone named Martin, who mentioned a company but I couldn't quite catch which one it was. He started the conversation with, "This isn't a cold call; it's about your property. Can I confirm that you're still the owner?" I replied, "I'm not sure how you got the idea of 'still,' but no, I'm not the homeowner." He then just abruptly ended the call without another word.

Just like many folks have mentioned, I received a call from this so-called energy company, querying whether I owned my home. Oddly enough, I had an identical call yesterday from the very same individual, but this time it came through a landline number—01773 252166. Quite the coincidence, wouldn’t you say?

I've received two calls from this number in just a couple of days, but there's never anyone on the other end. Quite irritating!

I received a call from someone who said they were reaching out on behalf of my energy provider. They insisted it wasn't just a random cold call and were keen to gather information about my property for loft insulation installation. When I mentioned that my loft was already done, he promptly thanked me and hung up. Clearly, it was a scam. I wouldn't recommend getting into a dialogue with them.

I received a call from someone named Gordon claiming to be my energy advisor. I quickly put a stop to him, saying, "Not on your life! I'm not interested and please remove me from your list of contacts; this is a scam!"

A chap claiming to be called Martin, representing an energy supply company, called me up insisting I was in a high usage tier. I informed him that this wasn’t the case, and he abruptly replied with “have a nice day, cheerio.” I’ve got a strong hunch this is just a dodgy attempt to glean personal info from unsuspecting folks.

I missed a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I decided to check it out here. Turns out it’s best to just block the number now!

I received a call from some chap named 'Martin' who claimed to be with 'Think Energy'. When I inquired about how he obtained my phone number, he promptly disconnected the line!

I received a call from a firm conducting energy surveys, and they mentioned they required my age due to some sort of vulnerability legislation. Honestly, I had never encountered such a request before, so I decided to end the conversation there.

I haven't got a clue who that was on the other end; all I caught was a bloke's voice saying "Goodbye" before the line went dead! Very peculiar indeed!

I’ve been getting calls from this number that feel quite intrusive, often relating to double glazing or energy-saving tips. It’s been a bit of a nuisance in the past, but it seemed to quieten down for a while. Recently, though, it’s started up again. My advice? Just block the number or simply don’t engage with it.
