I received a call supposedly from Sky, where the representative offered me a tempting deal on a new phone with unlimited everything, claiming my existing contract would be terminated. It sounded like an incredible offer, so I went ahead and signed up. However, I later got a follow-up call from an official Sky operator informing me that a phone had been dispatched to my home, but it wasn’t the model I had been promised; instead, they sent me a rather basic plan. To make matters worse, they inquired if I had added a new email address and contact number to my account, which I definitely hadn’t! Sky's team caught on to this suspicious activity and explained that scammers often employ this tactic-once you raise your concerns, they’ll offer to pick up the incorrect phone for “free” with a guarantee to send you the right one. As you can guess, that replacement never actually arrives, leaving you stuck with a three-year contract for absolutely nothing. Fortunately, I was relieved that Sky's fraud team were swift to act. Please, do yourself a favour and steer clear of this number!

I attempted to ring the number again but it’s showing as disconnected. Seems like it might be a call centre’s one-way line, so they wouldn’t take any calls coming in. Has anyone else managed to get through to this number?
