Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach about my broadband. They said they were based at 81 Newgate Street in London, but 01823 is definitely a Taunton number. I mentioned that 81 Newgate Street is actually BT’s head office, not a site where work happens. The bloke called me a liar and just slammed the phone down. Not exactly great behaviour, even for a scammer. Would steer clear.
