Got a call from a woman named Claire Jones, she was asking for one of our directors but only used her first name. When I asked who was calling, she claimed she knew me. I passed the call to the director, but he said he’d never come across her before. I told Claire that, and she just said she’d send an email to the director instead.

Some bloke named Dan Jones rang up wanting to chat with our director. When I asked what it was about, he wouldn’t say a word and just kept going on that the director would understand since he was meant to be expecting the call. Total rubbish if you ask me!

Got a call from someone saying she was 'Claire' around 3:34pm, kept insisting on talking to the MD. Wouldn’t say why she was calling, just said the MD would understand. Bit exhausting really. I’ve blocked the number now.

I’ve told them not to ring me again and I’m on the telephone preference service, yet they just keep calling. Really unprofessional bunch - best to steer clear.

Kept getting calls like they were following up on an email that we never actually sent. Really annoying how persistent they were.

I found it quite cheeky how she kept asking for the director. When I asked who she was, she just kept saying "Katy Jackson" without explaining where she was calling from. When I wouldn’t share any details about the director, she got a bit pushy and said she’d just send an email instead. Not very polite at all.

I got a ring from the same woman on the identical number, saying something like, “Not sure if you recall but I phoned you three months ago and you told me to get back in touch now!” Crazy, right? I told her she probably forgot she’d just buzzed me less than an hour earlier and that I already asked to be taken off their contact list. She just hung up on me. When I tried ringing the number back, it only ran to voicemail saying all agents were tied up and to call later. Pretty sure no one’s actually picking up when you call back!

I received a rather unpleasant call from someone claiming to be Katie Jackson. She was quite impolite and abruptly terminated the conversation when I mentioned that I couldn't transfer her to the person who makes the key decisions. Quite unprofessional, if you ask me!

Got a ring from some Emma Prill looking for the MD. Kept saying "He knows who I am" but refused to say which company she’s from. Honestly, these sales people should seriously come up with better scripts! And she kept saying "amazing" over and over, like three times! Nothing about this call was amazing in the slightest.

Had a call from this Paul Smith from Rubix - what a nightmare! He was so rude and really pushy, couldn’t even properly explain what he was trying to sell. Tried claiming he’d spoken to our Managing Director, which I know for a fact never happened because they never pick up random calls like that. Then, right in the middle of it, he just hung up on me! Guess I came out on top after all!

We got a call here from 01823 211721 asking after a former director by first name only, someone who's not been with us for over a year now. The caller claimed to have talked to them a couple of months back but refused to say what company they were from and then just ended the call abruptly.

They keep saying they chatted with the company’s MD a few months back... this is like the third time in one week they've said this, and honestly they've been ringing us for years now. Total con artists, probably grabbed the MD's info from Companies House because that’s the only place that name shows up.

Rubix was really aggressive and pushy, wouldn’t accept me saying no at all. They’ve rung multiple different numbers trying the same line, asking to speak with the MD like they know him - but honestly, I doubt it. I checked with my MD and he’s never come across them. These constant calls feel like harassment and honestly, they should put an end to it.

Some bloke calling himself David Leicester was asking for the MD. When I asked which firm he was with, he just said "he should know," but eventually mentioned Rubix. Didn’t bother leaving a voicemail or anything.

Got a call from them trying to check our details, like our new business location and the managing director’s name. They also asked weird questions about how many phones we use, then they wanted an email from me. I just ended the call right there.

They claimed they’d already talked to someone but when I asked for any specifics about the time or topic, they couldn’t back it up at all. Totally pointless experience.

Had a call from some bloke called Jonathan Roberts at Rubix - honestly, the guy was so rude and just kept pushing like a right pain. If he had any sense, he’d find a proper job instead of pestering honest businesses with his pushy sales nonsense. If he thinks he can catch me off guard, he’s got another thing coming! Number was 01823 211721 - what a muppet!

Got a call from 01823211721, some woman named Emma asking for the Managing Director by name. Seems like she got the info off our website. She mentioned an email she’d sent and said she’d already discussed it with him. When I asked what it was regarding and which company she worked for, she refused to say. She was quite aggressive and really pushy. Turns out it was just another sales call about telecoms. Honestly, I’d steer clear of this number - total cold call, no thanks.

I’ve had quite the experience with this unsolicited caller who keeps pestering me for the managing director! It’s utterly infuriating-the individual has rung me several times despite my clear explanation that the MD does not entertain uninvited calls.

To combat this nuisance, I’ve now registered with the Telephone Preference Service. If I receive another call from them after the 28-day registration period (the timeframe needed before I can lodge a complaint), I will definitely be reporting the number to the service. If you’re fed up with these unwelcome sales calls, do consider signing up for the TPS. It's absolutely critical to mention it when you receive these types of calls, as businesses are meant to check the register before reaching out to those who’ve opted out.

This person was so pushy and rude, kept insisting on speaking to the managing director even after I told them he doesn’t take cold calls. They rang up a few times now, despite being told to stop. I’ve signed up to the Telephone Preference Service now, if they ring again after 28 days (that’s how long they say you have to wait before making a complaint) I’m definitely reporting them. Honestly, if you’re fed up with annoying sales calls, get yourself on the TPS list and tell these callers about it cause they’re meant to check it before ringing you.

I recently received a phone call from someone inquiring about my managing director. When I requested the caller's name to facilitate the transfer, he responded with blatant rudeness and arrogance, insisting that I simply put him through. I reiterated my need for his name, at which point he unleashed a tirade accusing me of being discourteous. I offered my apologies if he felt I was being rude; however, I explained that it was necessary for me to have his name to proceed with the call. He then told me to improve my customer service skills before abruptly hanging up. Upon redialling, I discovered the number belonged to a firm called Rubix - 01823 211721.

Got a call from 01823211721, some guy named Dave asking after the MD by first name. When I asked what the call was about, he snapped back saying it’s none of my business and accused me of being rude. So I gave as good as I got - told him his pushy sales tactics were awful and that he clearly never spoke to the MD before. Then I just hung up. Wouldn’t bother with this number.

Got these annoying calls where they hang up straight away if a woman picks up, seems like they only wanna talk to a guy. They keep ringing from different numbers though, proper pest. I’ve blocked every number they’ve used till now.

We've been getting nonstop calls from someone asking for our MD by name. They won't say who they are and keep insisting they’re going to ring back. They're really persistent, trying to find out where our director is and when he's expected. It’s quite frustrating.

Like others have said, got loads of calls asking for the Director by name. The bloke said he was David James but wouldn’t say what company he was from or give any details. Really quite abrupt. He kept ringing, going on about how he’d tell the MD I didn’t put his call through and claimed he was a big client of the MD. Honestly, from the way he spoke, it was obvious he had no clue about the business at all.

Just like others have said, got loads of calls from a bloke asking for the Director by their first name. He said he was Sam Rogers but wouldn’t tell me what firm he was from or give any details. Proper pushy and quite rude, I’m sure it’s not a legit business.

This bloke keeps ringing me up, always asking for the director but just by his first name, like he expects me to know. He won’t say what company he's with or even give me the email he's supposedly sending stuff to. Proper cheeky and won’t take no for an answer.
