I got a call from some dodgy people who said they were from Torquay and Brighton. How do we even make these types stop? Does anyone know if the cops have been told about this? It's really suspicious.

I saw this number pop up and it was from abroad. I picked up but they just went silent and then hung up. Could tell they were listening when I picked up though. Bet they'll ring again now they realise it’s a live number.

Got a call claiming to be from Ofcom saying my internet had hackers and would be cut off in 24 hours unless I pressed one for BT or two for another provider. Yeah, as if! I rang the number back and ended up talking to a bloke who sounded like he was from India or maybe Pakistan but apparently working out of Torquay. I tried reporting it to Action Fraud but their website wouldn’t load and every time I tried the phone line just dropped the call! Proper frustrating.

The number appeared on my phone along with a notice saying "INTERNATIONAL CALL". I’ve got a few voice messages like the ones others have talked about, so I decided to pick up since I often miss the start of the recordings. But when I did, there was nothing said - the call just ended abruptly!

Got a call from 01803424035. The message said something like "OFCOM here, your internet service will be cut off in 24 hours because hackers from 27 countries were detected. Press one to speak to a BT advisor." The recording was really old-fashioned sounding, which made it obvious it was dodgy. Honestly, I’d say these scammers aren’t especially harmful, just annoying. If this was a genuine warning, someone would have actually called and been polite, properly introduced themselves and explained the situation clearly.

Total con artists! They rang me up saying my internet was hacked and needed me to let them into my computer to fix the router. I played along at first, pretending to be worried, and recorded everything. When he asked for the access code, I hit him with the tape of his own voice. After a brief pause, he just cut the call. Absolute muppets! Definitely block these jokers!

I just got a robo call from these lot. When I called back and asked if it covered the entire house, some Indian guy said it was only for where my computer's connected. Then I told him I didn’t have anything plugged in there, and the line just went dead. Weird experience.

There was an option to press a button to talk to someone from BT, but I opted to verify the situation before taking any action. Just in case anyone else gets a call from 01803 424035, I’d suggest being cautious!
